At the movie's beginning, a minor couple, Pumpkin (played by Tim Roth) and Honey Bunny (Amanda Plummer) are eating at a diner [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] only moments after robbing the place. This scene acts as a prologue to the action. Their connection to the others comes up later. Jules has a comical Jheri Kurl and mutton chops, which are stereotypical of the black ploitation films of previous decades. The humor centers on how intelligent Jules is compared to the suave looking Vincent. The movie then follows Vincent as he takes Mia (Uma Thurman), gangster Marsellus' girlfriend to a 1950s style club. There, audiences are treated to Travolta's famous flirty dancing, spectacular scenery, and more of Tarantino's famous cinematic technique.
"The Witness" The creator of the landmark "Braid" delivers a PS4 exclusive in this game in which you explore a mysterious island and solve puzzles but promises something much deeper (as anyone who has played "Braid" can attest is possible in a game from this team). A game that promises no fat, no filler, no redundancy. A game in which the everything is there for a reason and every puzzle has an idea inside of it. 25 hours of gameplay and PS4 will be the only console. Yeah, we're super excited too. More than any other game debuted. It may not be the most visually captivating but it seems like it could easily be the most intellectually.
Is Don Diablo the next Tiesto? With the ink drying on a new global SonyBMG 360 deal which provides artistic freedom and the structure to break him internationally, the Dutch triple threat might just be the next Dutch dance superstar. Following a lineage that includes Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, and Ferry Corsten, it's clear that the Netherlands breeds talent unlike anywhere else. Last year we tipped Don Diablo as one to watch in 2007 and with this new deal, Don Diablo might just give the dance world the "kick in the ass" it needs.
But I just wanted to make this post for those of you who have not been finding anything. I was like you, and still am kind of (haven found much since) but just keep going for it. You will find something. And when you make your first huge sale, or find that first legendary, the feeling is glorious.
I also really like how often you are encouraged to swap figures. Whether a certain element is required to open a door, you need a specific ability to play a challenge (like flying through a series of rings or climbing up a vertical wall, etc.), or you just like fighting a certain enemy type with a particular figure, you'll be swapping figures a lot. Even with just the three figures included in the Starter Pack, I was swapping them in and out (and playing around with the different abilities the two swappable characters offered) every few minutes. It is genuinely a lot of fun and I like the meaty "clack" sound the swappable characters make when you connect them.
